Pricing

Priced per finished video. Not per attempt.

Credit tools charge for every regeneration. By the time a clip is usable the sticker price has roughly tripled, about $1.65 per finished 8 second clip in the benchmark we track. Cadenza decides the story before spending a render credit and holds one look across every shot, so the numbers below are the numbers you actually pay.

How billing behaves

Pay for useful output

Plans are described in finished videos, not opaque credits. A finished video is one you keep.

Estimates before spend

Once live rendering is enabled, every billable generation shows its estimate before work begins.

Failed jobs do not count

A generation that fails does not consume a finished video from your allowance.

Refinement is scoped

Changing the lighting on one shot bills for that work, not for a whole new project.

Developers and agents

The developer tier covers REST and MCP usage with the same per-finished-video story. Story planning and shot plans cost nothing: the story intelligence report and the director prompt plan are free calls, so an agent can iterate on direction without spending. Billable work starts at generation, and the agent sees the plan first.

Questions

Is checkout live right now?
Not yet. Billing tiers are published so you can plan, but the payment integration is an open seam during the beta. Attempting a paid checkout returns an honest not-configured response instead of charging you. Beta access does not require a card.
What counts as a finished video?
A completed sequence you keep: it rendered successfully, passed the safety path, and was delivered with provenance. Failed renders and safety-blocked requests do not count.
What happens when I use my included videos?
Tiers with an overage price let you continue at the listed per-video rate. You always see usage on your account page before continuing.
Why is per-finished-video pricing different?
Credit tools bill every regeneration, so three attempts for one keeper triples the real price. Cadenza plans the story first and locks continuity, which cuts regeneration waste. Pricing per finished video makes that saving the number you actually see.
Can I cancel?
Yes, at any time once subscriptions are live. Your plan runs to the end of the paid period and does not renew. Included videos do not roll over.
Do you offer refunds?
If a billing error charges you incorrectly we refund it. For quality issues, failed jobs are simply not counted, which removes the most common reason to need a refund.
What about taxes?
Displayed prices exclude taxes. Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout once payments are live, based on your billing location.
I need team seats, workspaces, or custom terms.
The agency tier covers shared workspaces and roles. For negotiated commitments, custom retention, SSO, or audit exports, contact us through the beta channel and we will talk.
